Buffer charges per channel. A founder on LinkedIn and X pays for two channels, and when you upgrade from the free plan you pay for every channel you had, including the free ones.
Buffer's AI assistant is unlimited on every plan and changes tone when you ask. Its site does not say it learns your voice from your own writing, so drafts start generic and you do the shaping.
Buffer is built to publish. It does not find posts worth replying to or remind you to follow up, which is where much of the value of posting as a founder comes from.
