Schedule LinkedIn posts
You can schedule a post on LinkedIn itself. Here is how it works, where it stops, and what GrowedditX adds when you also post on X.
| Question | LinkedIn's scheduler | GrowedditX |
|---|---|---|
| Schedule a LinkedIn post | Yes, from the post box | Yes, through LinkedIn's official API |
| When it can go out | 10 minutes to 3 months from now | A suggested weekday slot, right now, or an exact time in your time zone |
| The X version | Not included | Adapted from the same draft in your voice, and schedulable on X |
| A draft to start from | A blank box | A draft in your voice, from your own posts and notes |
| Before it goes out | You press Schedule | You approve it; the same content twice on one account within seven days is blocked |
| What must be posted by hand | Events, jobs and services posts | LinkedIn polls and articles, and X threads, for now |
| Price | Free | 7 day free trial, then from $39 a month |
LinkedIn's scheduler is free and enough if you only post on LinkedIn. Choose a tool when you also want the X version and a draft in your voice.
How to schedule a post on LinkedIn itself
- Start a post and write it as usual.
- Select the clock icon next to Post, and pick a date and time.
- Select Next, then Schedule. You can reschedule, edit or delete it from your scheduled posts list.
- LinkedIn Help says the time must be between 10 minutes and 3 months from now, and some post types, such as events and jobs, cannot be scheduled.
How scheduling works in GrowedditX
You approve every post before it is queued. Nothing is sent without that approval, and it goes out only at the time you chose, through LinkedIn's official API.
Pick a suggested weekday slot, post right now, or choose an exact time in your time zone. Times that clocks skip or repeat when they change are handled, so a post never lands an hour off.
One step adapts the draft into an X post in your voice, and you can schedule that through X's official API too. X threads, LinkedIn polls and LinkedIn articles are copied and posted by hand for now, because they cannot be posted from here yet.
A scheduled post can be cancelled before it is sent, or moved to a new time with a note of why. Scheduling the same content twice on one account within seven days is blocked.

Questions
Can you schedule a post on LinkedIn?
Yes. LinkedIn lets you schedule a post from the post box, between 10 minutes and 3 months ahead, on desktop and in the app.
Why use a scheduler if LinkedIn has one?
LinkedIn's scheduler is enough if you only post on LinkedIn and write every post yourself. A tool helps when you want the X version from the same draft, a draft in your own voice to start from, and one calendar for both networks.
Does GrowedditX post without asking me?
No. It posts only what you approved, at the time you chose. It never likes, comments, follows or messages anyone for you.
Can I schedule carousels?
Yes. A carousel goes out as the PDF saved with the draft. Polls and articles are not accepted from apps by LinkedIn, so you paste those in yourself.
What does it cost?
There is a 7 day free trial with no card. After that, plans start at $39 a month, or less billed yearly. See the pricing page for details.
